This role plays a key part in extending our mainframe offering by implementing new features, changes and improvements to our largest customers.

Your responsibilities:
Actively participate in our agile development process
Interact with a small, remote, mature development team with years of experience
Create, test and document new features in the CICS and IMS agents
Support existing features in the CICS and IMS agents
Design, test and implement with emphasis on performance and minimal overhead
Collaborating and mentoring regularly with team members
Qualifications
At least ten years of practical experience in z/OS assembler programming
CICS, z/OS Connect or IMS Connect experience, and a solid understanding of protocols is highly appreciated
Experience with IMS, DB2, Networking, Security, MQ, CTG, SOAP and WAS is welcome
Experience with analyzing dumps and traces (3rd level support only)
Basic skills in application development (internal test apps in Cobol, PL/I and C)
Basic Java skills and no fears to assist in maintaining our internal test framework
